Stayed for a whole week from 26th September 2010 and absolutely loved every minute. Lily is so kind and helpful, everything in the cottage was perfect. I really enjoyed the log fire, it was so cosy for Sue and me. Can't wait to return, it is a trial run before retiring to the "west side" permamently in 3 years time. A true Shetland cottage with all the benefits of thick solide walls, fabulous scenery and jaw dropping views. The best open secret in Shetland.

Having had a wonderful week at Highmount Cottage, we feel that part of us will now always be in Shetland. Thanks for your hospitality. We hope that next time we can return for longer.

Our stay in the cottage has been wonderful. It was very comfortable with all the home comforts you need. We loved the woodburning stove and the candles for cosy evenings. Shetland is one of Britains best kept secrets. It is beautiful, lovely beaches and walks and very hospitable Shetlanders.

I had a great time in Shetland! I`ts a nice place to live with much to do like fishing, look at the boats walk at the hills and cliffs. The view is fantastic. Hilsen Jens Kristian
